Our edition is based on Fritz Schindlers 24 transcriptions of works by Bach for flute solo from the year 1896. Gerhard Braun has revised the musical text, eliminated the many expressive markings and slurs that had been added to editions of early music inSchindlers day, and restored their original forms.
