32 Folk Songs

The 32 folk songs in hand are taken as melodies of the collection of the professor of musicology and adorer of Johannes Brahms Julius Spengel which he edited in Hamburg in 1892. For many years Prof. Spengel had collected folk songs from all regions in Germany, the composers and texters of which have stayed unknown up to now. The arrangement for three clarinets is technically easy to cope with and will especiallly help beginners – male or female- to make their difficult way on the precise interplay together with other instruments. As pieces for performances at music schools these little pieces are extremely suitable.
