Fields of Honour

The piece Fields of Honour was commissioned by the Orchestre d'Harmonie de Beauquesne (France) and tells the story of the horrific Battle of the Somme during the First World War with more than one million victims. The music describes the events before and after the battle. This impressive composition is structured like a symphonic poem and extremely dramatic and emotional. It offers great challenges for all instrument groups.
