Power Play

The composer has dedicated this piece to hischildren. From a parent’s point of view, childhoodpasses by too quickly. However, at other times thedays seem endless - particularly those days whenchildren keep their parents so busy and pushed tothe limit that they don’t know if they’re coming orgoing. Scraped knees, crayoned walls and ravagedplayrooms are the ingredients for a battle of wills -a real “power play.” However, one enchantingsmile from a child is enough to make the hardwork worth it. This piece was written in the middleof teddy bears, toy cars and Lego bricks.
