When El Raphael saw De La Jara's pictures at an exhibition, she began to hear inexplicable music in her head, as if the pictures were telling her stories through music.

Although the Piano pieces stand alone as exceptional music, it is wonderful to see how the images (some of which are included in the book) interact with the music to form a story.
